Bit confused here, are you saying that if a Foreign power who is at odd's with your country makes a statement saying so and so politician is a good choice then that person shouldnt be considered?
If so then what a simple way for your enemies to ensure that you dont pick the best person for the job.

Now you see there was no mention of any one liking or disliking him with the exception of enemies of the USA in the original post and to be honest do you also put people in office simply because your friends like him? I thought the criterea would be could he do the job with the best interests of his country been the prime objective
