...and why? I put this question in politics because that's where most of the action is in this small forum. So who and why? Personally I have nobody on an ignore list. There are those that I truly consider idiots but I don't put them on ignore. I just take the assinine comments with a salt block instead of a grain. On occasion they actually make a point. At times like that I'm glad I don't ignore them and will often respond. Others put people on ignore. Why is that? Are you so afraid that you might actually see and (gasp) actually understand another point of view? Seems to be the case to me. LaLaLaLaLaLaLa I'm not listening is what it boils down to in my opinion. That's also just childish in my opinion. Thanks for reading this (or not if I'm on ignore).
Clembo, you're actually one of the few "typical liberals" (there.. I said it. I know that ticks you off. Put me on "ignore) who makes sense on occasion. The only person I have on "ignore" is Themistokles who makes no sense whatsoever. Plus, his posts are asinine and worthless. I'd rather not waste my time weeding through his garbage. Believe it or not, I actually enjoy reading IQ<1's posts for entertainment purposes. I get quite a few laughs from them. He seems to be ignoring me, however, so his loss.
I have no one on ignore. I don't ignore people, I ignore comments. And I have to read them before I know whether or not they are worth paying any attention to.
I currently have no one on ignore. Typically, on forums, I only put blatant trolls who post repetitive and inane postings on 'ignore'. But, if I followed that rule here, I would soon get bored of seeing just my own posts.
Although I don't have anyone on my ignore list, I have begged at least three people here to put me on theirs. But alas, I remain the object of their affections. One of them is so enthralled with me that he imitates my avatar regularly. It is hard to endure such worship but somebody has to be on their pedestal and I look damn good up here. I am amused by the hoypolio and their quaint customs and primitive rituals. The wild savage needs the guidance of the cultured class or they devolve into petty quarrels, territorial disputes, and cannibalism. Nobody wants that. I serve as their better so that all three of them may better their lowly existence. You're welcome filth.
Why would I put you on ignore Coin? You occasionally make sense too. If I labeled you a typical Republican and put you on ignore I'd miss those occasions. BTW "typical liberal" only bothers me when it's really stupid. This is not one of those occasions.
I simply grew tired of the incessant posts of pictures of excrement and the accompanying words which equal the pictures. I'm glad the forum has an "ignore" button so we don't have to see or listen to those members who can't have a civil discourse. Or are cowards. Or liars.
If that's the case then there's clearly something wrong with my thinking in that post. I'll have to review it and try to figure it out.
