Anyone else notice the heavier traffic lately? I don't mean those wanting to sell knockoff junk and woody-makers, I mean non-posters. I've also noticed that this site seems to have engulfed another in some way, but so far they (the new people I see have materialized) haven't said anything (that I can see here). Again, I don't mean new members so much as people who apparently have tons of posts...but where I have no idea. So Pete, fess up, did you transfer another site's political losers, I mean chatters, here....or planning to merge them here, but haven't completed the transfer yet? hmmmm? Oh, and nice one on that thing with the thing that does that thing. It's hilarious!
One other thing, Pete...I've visited a few other political-type forums and this one here is wayyy better for conversations. Here, I can see when someone replies to a post of mine, or even a thread I'm watching, in seconds. The other sites I visited were not so user friendly. I never knew if someone replied to my posts, and if I wanted to find out I had to jump through half a dozen or more screens, and it'd take at least a couple minutes to do that versus the couple seconds here. I know some of the stuff here is also used on Facebook...but I forgive you now (for that) now that I've seen how some other sites are.
Well IQ don't get too excited. Seems to me that new folks pop in, see the mess and go away for the most part.
From the posts, I'm not too sure they'd mind the mess. If anything, they might leave because the rules here may be tighter than what they're used to. Check out their posts. I can only find the top four posters, but they don't sound skittish at all lol You can find them in the "Members" section/ "Highest-Posting Members (on the right of the screen, on my computer anyway). They're the ones with no avatars. In one of 'em, I found a reference to the former site they were on. I checked it out and it said "All Good Things Must End" or somesuch. THAT said, how many members that actually come here (if any) is debatable...but it looks like Pete went and crushed, I mean bought, another site.
One other tell, more people are reading our junk...(hangs head in shame)... I wish we didn't suck so much. I say "we", but of course I lie. I'm damn entertaining. Some of you suck, and you know it!
I'm a little lost when it comes to the technical details above but it sounds like maybe I picked a good time to check in.
What I noticed recently was that when I start a new thread, within an hour or two the thread gets over a 100 views which is strange since there are no immediate responses. It's like there are a ton more members not post but just lurking. Hum?
Probably a case of people just not caring enough about your drivel to respond? That would be my guess.
I didn't word it very well, but that's part of what I meant with the increased traffic and more people looking at our junk. He's opened up the site to a lot of new visitors, and a lot of Dutch , but so far nothing has really changed other than that.
Is there anything else you'd like to type besides the near complete sentence above? Maybe something that isn't a "personal attack"? Pete banned me once for what he called "trolling", and I still laugh at that, considering the type of comments that fly from you three all the time. I know you will refuse to answer my question above, of course, as I'm still waiting on that "yes" or "no" answer to an earlier question. But, I can't remember you ever giving anyone a straight answer to any question. So be it, I consider that to be part of the nature of your condition, so bless your heart.
If they can't enter a civil conversation without attacking someone, they really wouldn't have anything to contribute. Angry old white men that want everyone else to be as miserable as they are. Just ignore them.
Nah, David just likes to rant about all things not David-like. He's fun that way...like a barium enema...I hear they're a blast! It's just so funny he can't answer a single question that someone asks of him, yet has these idiocic rants about how other people "can't" answer his, despite the fact that we do....most of the time lol How about this David, I'll ask a very simple question and you answer it: Do you like ice cream? Bets down people! I have mine on "Yes"...if he actually answers it. Anyone wanna take "No"? If he fails to answer directly, but responds, it pays 1:1, same as if he ignores it completely. All others are null and void...as it simply must be considered an act of god.
