I was watching the Today Show this morning and of course their lead story was the Patraeus resignation and their guest interview was Newt Gingrich. I thought as they went to commercial, Newt Gingrich? Why him? He has no military experience, no CIA experience, no relationship at all to this situation. As they came back from commercial, it finally occurred to me what Newts expertise was. Call it lack of coffee, too little sleep, or whatever but it finally occurred to me that Newt was there because he too has had very public extramarital affairs. He was there as an expert in mistresses. I couldn't stop laughing at he public joke that we call Newt Gingrich.
I just watched Jon Stewart make the same observation about Gingrich that I made. He owes me royalties damn it!
You've never heard of political satire? If you can sit in front of your TV and take Fox seriously and then come here and parrot everything they said, I guess that I have no issue with a comedy show that entertains me at your expense.
