David Frum Says GOP Has Been Fleeced And Lied To By Conservative Media

Joe asks David to repeat what he was asserting because the words can't be heard by fringe Right-wingers and since they learn best from the repetitive talking head experience, Joe probably figures hearing it twice might just have some impact. Remember, these are two Republicans talking to each other.

The majority of Fox News viewers will just discount Frum's statement because--

1. He's speaking on MSNBC (a well known source of lies, as far as the average Fox News viewer is concerned), and they'll never read his book.

2. They still believe the Fox News narrative. Sure, it was proven before their eyes to be a deception for the single issue of the likely outcome of the election, but that's not enough to cause them to lose faith. Gasbag mountebanks like Rove and Morris will still be listened to as if they had some sort of special line to the "real truth."

But you're right, they will learn nothing from Fox being exposed even if it is fellow Right-wingers telling them so. Brain washing is a very effective tool and the more gullible the audience, the easier it is to do. They know their audience.
