I've been absent lately, did anyone catch Chris Mathews celebrating the devastation caused by Sandy? As one of the leading libs & the face of the MSNBC entertainment network what do you guys think about what he said?
Chris Mathews went on TV the next day and said that he had been up late into the night and was exhausted but that that was no excuse and apologized for an inappropriate comment. It's how he began his show. You never see a Right-winger apologize for any stupid comments and they make plenty of them. I respect people willing to immediately apologize for a dumb comment but if you look at ALL the stupid comments all the idiots on Fox made over the past few days, you will find no apologies forthcoming.
I don't give a flying flip whether Chris Mathews was up late or not. He shouldn't have said such a thing when people along the East Coast were dead or dying and so many people's lives were shattered. Chris Mathews is a slimy, liberal and his comments, regardless of the apology, were proof of that assertion and how he actually thinks. He should have his comedy show cancelled and he should volunteer to help bury the dead and clean up the debris of that terrible storm.
Oh c'mon, he didn't just slip up on some little thing, he celebrated a disaster & the benefit it would have for his party...if you can't see that it probably says as much about you as the comment in question says about Mathews.
