Well I hope that Romney gets it but I have a sneaky suspicion that the President will hold on to it. So Stue's result in reverse!

Do you notice what a bunch of cowards the Righties are in this forum? Too chicken to even make a friendly guess. The most courage Okie could muster was to agree with Stu, real brave, while the other fringe crowd stays silent. Buck! Buck! Buck!

Unlike you, most of us don't have crystal balls. They break too easily. Judging from your past prognostications (Obama would choose Hillary as a running mate, Scott Walker would lose in Wisconsin, etc.) I doubt your current prediction is any better.

I didn't say that I agreed with Stu. I said that his prediction "sounded good to me" because it indicates a Romney win.

So no, Merlin, I'm not going to make any predictions on an exact number. However, poll data indicates that Romney may take several of the swing states pushing him over the needed 270. And THAT is the "magic" number.

    No predictions here, just facts:

    (From Rasmussen, 11/3/12)

In recent state polls, most state contests are very close. As of Friday, Ohio is now tied with 50% supporting both candidates. As of a poll conducted Thursday, in Wisconsin, both candidates have 49%. In other polls taken recently, Colorado is for Romney, 50% to 47%. Florida favors Romney, 50% to 48%. Iowa favors Romney, 49% to 48%. Nevada favors Obama 50% to 48%. New Hampshire favors Romney 50% to 48%. Virginia is for Romney, 50% to 48%.

I don't have a crystal ball either but I do have the CNN electoral map and some educated theories on how things are going to fall. I think it would be entertaining to see a tie but I no longer think going to happen. Although there is still possibility.

I will make another prediction. If Obama does manage to win the election, i think it will be without the majority of the popular vote.

What typically happens here when some thread gets posted asking people to make a prediction, the cowards refuse to even try and make a guess even just for the fun of it but they are always the first ones to post after the event slamming everyone who did have the courage to make a guess in the first place. Okie is a prime example of this behavior which is why him showing an iota of courage by attaching his prediction to Stu actually surprised me a little. Not much but it is a baby step anyway.

Now, my intuition and experience tells me that Righties are so afraid to ever being seen or admitting to being wrong about anything that they haven't developed enough personal courage to even participate in a silly meaningless thread like this one (Sorry Stu). I believe that their sense of self-worth is too tied up in their own sense of infallibility and they are too fragile to show any personal courage no matter how irrelevant the situation actually is. That is why all I see when I look at Right-wingers is a bunch gun clutching cowards that would probably end up shooting themselves in the foot if they actually were confronted with a life or death situation. We can only hope they are able to develop some courage one day if this country is actually ever threatened but once a coward, always a coward I say.

I use the map that averages all the major polls and bases its predictions not just on one polling organization. Face it, the polls are all over the place and the Right-wing polls like Rasmussen consistently show Romney leading while almost all of the other polling orgs have Obama leading. It only makes sense to average all of the major polls to do away with or at least minimize their individual biases. Try Huffington Post's map for example. They average several polls.

Now, don't get your panties in a bunch just because it looks like Obama may be on his way out. This race is really too close to call yet, but its not looking good for our Fearless Leader. Yes, Comrade Obama might still have a chance, but its going to be a squeaker - not even close to your prediction.

And where are your other cowardly brethren this fine day? Hum? BTW Get used to licking your wounds while munching on crow. My guess is you’ll just run away with the rest of the cowards after Tuesday.

I don't know who you're talking about when you say "cowardly brethren".

It's very possible that Obama may win. I've said that many times. Is he my choice to win? Hell no. But, I still believe in our democratic process (except, for instance, the electronic voting machines in Ohio that are giving votes to Obama when the voter has clearly chosen Romney). I'm not going to cry "foul" like the idiotic liberals did in 2000 when Gore won the popular vote and Bush won the Electoral College vote. I still believe in our system and if Obama wins, fair and square, so be it. I think Romney will win, however.

So where are the Rightie cowards? Their silence says volumes about their personal courage or lack thereof. Big talk no guts. I've always known the character of these paper tigers and it has always been found to be lacking.

The only real question is whether the Right's voter suppression tactics can prevail by subverting the democratic process. We are already seeing the effects of it in states like Florida with long lines to vote because Gov. Prick Scott decided that there were too many days to vote in his state. Result, long lines, lower turnouts, and a discouraged electorate. Shame on these Repuke Governors! They should be tried for treason.

Certainly not scientific but I've made note of the yard signs in my area the couple of days, taking different routes...
16-4 for Romney on the way to the kid's school (this morning)
21-4 for Romney on the way to the mountain biking trail (Saturday)
8-1 for Romney between the house & Target (yesterday)

*what was interesting is that I saw 4 locations where all the various democRAT signs were posted except Obama/Biden

Nuff said would be for your cowardly alies to grow a backbone and venture a guess.

You know why they won't? Because they either have to be wrong and pick Romney to win by some margin or they have to be right and pick Obama. They simple don't have the courage to do either one of those things. If Romney did win, they'd be the first ones back to this thread to gloat even as they demonstrate the courage of sheep before the fact. No wonder I can never develop any respect for Right-wingers given their behaviors. They simply are the biggest cowards on the planet.
