Are you saying this Staples non-story IS the October Surprise? I don't recall the Republicans springing an October Surprise recently. I do recall one by the Dems back in 2000 (or 2004 I don't remember exactly which election it was) where they sprung W's DUI arrest. That was another dud.
I didn't say that at all Coin. YOU brought it up (like minutes ago remember?) In 2008 the Republicans were touting an "October surprise". Funny that nobody can remember it. I think Obama may have farted in public. Either that or it could have been a miserable failure for the Republican party because they HAD NO surprise. Remember amigos I have voted Republican.
Now their October surprise comes in the form of Donald Trump and his hair-brained birther revelations (pun intended) about Obama. I swear the circus has put out an APB for it's missing clown and Trump has been able to elude them thus far.
