This just in from a "well respected" left wing media source only two weeks before the election. http://bluemassgroup.com/2012/10/tm...perjury-during-staples-founders-divorce-case/ Could be true acftually. I wouldn't doubt it but I'm certainly not taking it as gospel. Had the name Romney been replaced with Obama I'd be willing to bet this wou;d be the TRUE gospel to some members here. A different "well respected" news source of course. What say you?
If this is the Democrats' idea of an "October Surprise" I'm rather disappointed. I thought they could do better than that.
What Romney Lied? I'm shocked! Well, not really. I've been watching him lie for the past couple of years so what difference does one more make?
I understand Coin. The Republican "October surprise" sure was an eye opener in 2008. What was it again?
Are you saying this Staples non-story IS the October Surprise? I don't recall the Republicans springing an October Surprise recently. I do recall one by the Dems back in 2000 (or 2004 I don't remember exactly which election it was) where they sprung W's DUI arrest. That was another dud.
I didn't say that at all Coin. YOU brought it up (like minutes ago remember?) In 2008 the Republicans were touting an "October surprise". Funny that nobody can remember it. I think Obama may have farted in public. Either that or it could have been a miserable failure for the Republican party because they HAD NO surprise. Remember amigos I have voted Republican.
Now their October surprise comes in the form of Donald Trump and his hair-brained birther revelations (pun intended) about Obama. I swear the circus has put out an APB for it's missing clown and Trump has been able to elude them thus far.
I would say 'grasping' if not 'desperation'. Romney didn't load up on Staples stock, devastating Allred's case Washington Examiner, by Paul Bedard Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney not only thought Bain Capital-backed Staples stock was a risky investment, he never exercised all of his options to buy it, according to new testimony that is devastating to Obama backer and celebrity attorney Gloria Allred's bid to use a 1987 divorce and subsequent appeals to torpedo Romney's campaign. A source familiar with the case provided Secrets with testimony from the appeals case in which Romney revealed that he didn't buy all the Staples stock he could because he didn't see it as a sure thing. http://washingtonexaminer.com/romne...ing-allreds-case/article/2511728#.UInyPhzCqBV
