I think the black guy is way off the mark suggesting that lynchng is some sort of crime against blacks only. No end of whites were lynched in the old west. I have an old cowboy history book with several picies of lynched whites, and not one black. But of course, if he didn't have an extreme view, he wouldn't have gotten on the show
What Sharpton is doing isn't the truly disgusting part. What is worse is that the media perpetuates this racist persecution by allowing him a platform. I get the distinct feeling that the media is afraid of blacks. Oh how things have changed.
The media just follows the squeaky wheel. Like I said when a white person is perceived to do something racist, they're right there to feed on it, but if a black kid goes missing/kidnapped it doesn't make as big of a splash as a little white kid. The media is one of the biggest driving forces between the races.
What pisses me off is everybody has to apologize for saying stuff like this. Or people saying "I know it was wrong but" Bull****. It was a joke. It was metaphorically speaking. By no means was it meant to really go out and lynch him.
