He broke his leg in 2 places last week. He had surgery but one of the
breaks will apparently take up to two years to heal. He has to take a
taxi (that they luckily don't have to pay for) to school for 3 months.

I know you believe you understand what you think I said,

Screw his suffering and inconvenience, was there a good story behind it?

    What _was_ that, anyway?

_Anyway_, the whole thing reminded me of the time a co-worker of mine was
complaining about how her husband had broken his arm and needed all sorts
of extra loving care etc., and I asked how he broke his arm, and he broke
    his arm meditating.

    In a tree.

It's the tree's way of saying, "break my limb climbing on me, I'll break

I got the impression he was barking mad, but people like that can run

the cortex, and branches out from there.

I wasn't trying to make the thread phloem in that direction. Besides, I'm
not feeling well, I have a stoma ache. And I need to pratice my xylemphone.

    Speeding down a hill.

He's been told he can't let anything touch his leg for the next 8 weeks
or he may get permanent damage. I don't know how the hell that will
work. He's 9 and going to a school full of 6 to 12 year olds running
around. My sister in law is about to have a nervous breakdown.

Ow. Kind of an extra pisser there. So quickly from the snow to the ER, I
    mean.

What's a snowracer? can you guide it like a sled, or is it a suicide gig
    like the snow-saucers and innertubes?
