Wake Up Call

Wife and I are imposing on folks for letters of recommendation for our girl. She needs them to attend a summer drama/acting camp. Wife and I went through a short list of teachers and such and then we got to our church pastor and her confirmation teacher and my wife and I both had the same thought….. Is that a good idea?….. Man, if we don’t have our priorities upside down in this nation right now.

What has been good for generations is now bad. It is a sad state we live in currently.

 

Why should a religious recommendation be a good thing. For anything? Or was that your point?

 

Because a letter of recommendation was once considered to have merit based on the good standing of a persons character. Not their political/religious affiliations.

 

Why would the recommendation of a member of a communist teaching organization be any better?

 

Smarts folks understand the character flaws of the religious. You want an albatross?

Got news for ya, smartiepants. There ain't an organization on Earth that don't got character flaws.
