After finishing fourth and fifth, respectively, in yesterday’s New Hampshire primary, the game is up for Elizabeth Warren and Joe Biden. Neither of them polled 10% of the vote and both were more than 10% behind the top finishers. The race is over for them, but Biden will probably try to hang on until the South Carolina primary. After Sanders’ victory, the Democratic Party establishment is wondering how they can stop him and still retain the support of his supporters. That will probably be an impossible task. It’s hard to believe that the Sanders people will be willing to support a more moderate candidate, which is what the Democrats will need to defeat Trump.
