Putin's offensive has ground to a halt, now Ukrainians are retaking Toresk, in Provosk sector. Russians are out of equipment, cannot find dummies to sign contracts to die a few days later. Ukraine are way ahead in tech and Russians cannot move anywhere without being annihilated by drones. Furthermore, Ukrainians have elite divisions like AZOV that are killing Russians at a 25-1 ratio. Much like elite panzer units in WW2. Putin, much like Stalin is a paranoid coward, who uses the FSB to instill fear like Stalin's NKVD under Beria. Europe has woke up finally, and now realize the US maybe aiding Russia. So the rest of NATO is rearming, useing their huge economic power to first give Ukraine/ Zelenskyy weapons to win, as General Ben Hodges advocated from day one. And not to have any fear for Putin's "paper tiger" so called second army. These imbeciles cannot beat a smaller neighbour after their "sneak atttack" in Feb. 2022. Imagine vs Germany or Poland. There are Putinites now in USA, same as Stalinists in FDRs circle in 45. Hey @John Kamps ...... I read a brief piece today where Zelenskyy stated very matter of factly that Putin would soon be dead and all this would be over... While that part is debatable, I wondered what made Zelenskyy make that claim. Is Putin ill or was that an overt threat on Zelinskyy's part?
I think, there has been speculation for some years that Putin has advanced Colon Cancer, but we do not even know when you see him on camera, if its Him or a body double. In the first month of the full scale Russian invasion, Putin had sent Chechen "hit teams" to murder Zelenskyy and his cabinet. These assassination attempts were thwarted by the Ukrainians. My gut feeling is that the War is going really badly for the Russians, materiel losses are astronomical, manpower over 920K. But its the economy that is in big trouble. The War has cost the regime hundreds of billions, resulting in 22% interest rates/ inflation even higher/ rouble is tanking= a lot of ticked off Russians. I mean, unlike the US, in Russia when the President losses power, he will be killed. Putin has left a bloody legacy of dead opponents/ individuals he had sent to the GULAG, tortured, looted their wealth. He is the richest SOB on planet thru plundering it from rich former oligrachs. Thankfully the Europeans/ UK/ Japan etc., stated that full sanctions will stay in place until Putins thugs pull out of 1991 borders (Ukraine + pay for all the death, destruction they caused. Today, you guessed, Putin broke the so called "energy ceasefire". But thats a good thing, now they can hit Russian oil/ gas sites. Hopefully that Kerch Bridge too, so that their supply route is cut.
Good news, looks like Russians again broke "energy ceasefire" deal, within 6 hrs. Now, Ukrainians can nail Putin's refineries/ oil/ gas production sites. They now have upgraded their Neptune missiles to hit targets 1200 KMS out. Soon they will produce missiles that can hit every square inch of "Mother Russia". On the battle lines, Ukraine "drone tech" is far ahead of Russia, so they can hit enemy logistics/ supply columns 300+ KMS front lines. Russians cannot sustain those materiel losses, plus casualties now are back at 1500-1800. Attrition rates are 8-1 for good guys. There should be NO peace until Putin's forces are wiped out, or until Russians pull out of occupied territories/ pay full reparations for starting War.
