A greater America has begun! Trump signs ObamaCare executive order January 20, 2017 President Trump on Friday signed an executive order directing federal agencies to “ease the burden of ObamaCare,” according to White House press secretary Sean Spicer. Trump signed the order in front of reporters at the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office, one of his first official acts as president. He did not comment on the actions and no further details about them were immediately available. Spicer told reporters at the White House the move was made as part of the "transition to repeal and replace" the former president's signature healthcare law. Trump has made ObamaCare repeal a top priority during his campaign and transition period. He repeatedly pledged to begin rolling back the law on his first day in the White House. The move came just hours after Trump took the oath of office at the Capitol. Congress has already taken its first steps toward repealing the law through the complex budget reconciliation process. Using that process allows lawmakers to repeal central provisions of the law without the 60 votes needed to break a filibuster. White House chief of staff Reince Priebus is also sending out a memo ordering a government-wide “regulatory freeze until further notified," Spicer said. Trump also signed confirmation papers for his picks to run the departments of Defense and Homeland Security, retired Gens. James Mattis and John Kelly. Both nominees were easily confirmed by the Senate on Friday evening. “I am pleased by the confirmation votes of Generals Mattis and Kelly," Trump said in a paper statement. "These uniquely qualified leaders will immediately begin the important work of rebuilding our military, defending our nation and securing our borders." http://thehill.com/homenews/administration/315414-trump-signs-obamacare-executive-order
Immediately following President Donald Trump's inaugural address, MSNBC and ABC pundits and hosts slammed the newly-sworn in President's speech for its "militant" and "dark" anti-Semitic overtones.
Yet CNN analysts said Trump's speech most closely resembled a Bernie Sanders speech in tone & substance.
Another trump Inauguration speech plagiarism: trump: (republican villain) “We are transferring power from Washington, D.C., and giving it back to you, the people." Bane (Batman villain): “We take Gotham from the corrupt! The rich! The oppressors of generations who have kept you down with myths of opportunity, and we give it back to you, the people.”
