I think my assumption of awareness was vague, and I should have been clear. I was informed that Mackall had issued an Alert Status, due to Iran hijacking a Tanker travelling from Iraq to Turkey, and that it was the same Tanker that the U.S. had seized under Sanctions, that was travelling from Iran to China. The Tanker had received a new name and ownership. My first thought was: "here we go, the first and perfect opportunity to respond with military strength directed @ Iran, with cause". After all, is there anybody in the Free Press World that is not aware that Iran is the reason that the Terrorists have the Wampum to continue disruption on a global scale? My 2nd. thought was: "Wait a minute, who is the SECDEF....and the Congressional Leaders.... that were informed by POTUS that an Alert Status would be issued"? My 3rd. thought was: "POTUS will not have the necessary Fortitude to strike Iran". So, what happens? Now we know. A weak response, at the silliest targets that could be militarily conceived as a "that'll teachem", intervention displaying U.S Strength. To state that I am personally disappointed would be pompous. The entire damn Free World should be disappointed. Now, this morning, we learn no proper notification of a pending action was given to Congress (or SECDEF?). Jesus Christ. If we are going to open a War Zone with the goal of protecting the Free World, then do so. This mosquito action.....DIRECTED AT THE WRONG TARGET....is a slap in the face to the Free World.
