Wondered what you guys thought about a couple of things in the news.
Firstly the couple that named their kids after nazi leaders and found the spotlight after a store wouldnt put the childs name on a birthday cake.
They sure lapped up the attention , now the kids have been taken into care.

And the Anthony family , whats going on there ? The grandparents asking for immunity in exchange for testimony and the son is facing unspecified charges while the daughter sits in prison on murder 1.
Whats the deal there you think ?

I heard that those two idiots have kids named Himmler and Ayrian too. I wonder why they had the kids taken. As for the Anthonys; I just dont see how you can do that to your own kid. Or any kid. Very sad. I hope she frys.

Those morons called the eldest kid Adolf , that kid is gonna get beat up every day of his life...the other kids names were just as bad.

I think the State made the right call , get those kids out of that kind of enviroment.

The Anthonys ..the son facing charges now ...of what they wont say , the grandparents trading immunity for testifying , and her in jail saying we dont know half the story..sounds like theres something she wants to say.

Nobody will say who the father of this child is , and there lies the rest of the story i think.

This is the precise reason countries like Denmark have laws specifying names that are appropriate for naming children. Not that I can imagine these children going to a public school, or any school for that matter, I mean, look at the parents:eek: but can you imagine the perfidy of naming your kid after some murderous tyrant?

Chairman Mao, have you done your homework? Lucretia Borgia, did you do your chores?

It neednt be so , you could join the thread of the Hershonites and be saved you know.No doom or gloom on our calender , just lots of chocolatey treats and confections.
Valentines candy , Easter eggs , Marshmallow peeps , Jelly belly giant jelly beans , just a few key dates on the Hershonites calender for spring.

On a slightly more serious note , i think the oddest candy ive seen here was Chocolate crucifixes.I cant get my head around that idea.
Big sturdy things , and a pint and a half of milk in each cross no doubt

They arent new. Chocolate crosses have ben around for Easter for a long long time. And my Mom wasnt a whacko. She was very devout, but made the crosses for us during Easter. Tastier than some thin bland wafer.

Bit confusing Clembo , the wafer represents the body of Christ , i havnt got to the page yet that says Chocolate is a accepteble substitute.

Its not only at Easter either , ive seen them pretty much year round. Not to be confused with something that can be popped in the Gob quickly as a wafer might be , these were quite large and would certainly take a bit of breaking and eating.
