I have forty-seven extended family members en route to my house currently. I was just made aware that we are in the midst of a bitter political battle among several of my young nephews. I sure hope they leave that at the door. I may put a sign up…..
By the way MD, with 47 enroute, and a number of'em bein' hotheads, you could stage yer own reenactment of the civil war!
@Mopar Dude and the rest of the PL family, I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. Enjoy a bit of non partisan, we've got something in common, humor, levity and jocularity.....
I'd be interested to know what, if anything, transpired with the nephews, Randy. My mother, bless her heart, watches the wrong news and was on the Kamala wagon this year. I asked her kindly to leave that topic at her house for Thanksgiving and, bless her heart again, she did.
Think the Karmala bandwagon got stuck in her muckraking. Also loved to have seen Talyor Swift's reaction to nite Trump steamrollered Harris.
I take it the "one nephew" is the rabble rouser of the group and turns the heat up, then? Good to hear that it was quiet, I know I sure appreciated nobody saying anything political at our get together. Over at the Democratic Underground, it is astonishing to see how many people skipped Thanksgiving with their family, heck some have disowned their family members, all because of some people that they've never even met.
Over on the other side of Northern Border..... We have Thanksgiving in early October. We do love talking politics on festive get togethers After all its all in good fun.One such event/ Judy (my wife) was dating me (she was a lawn client) Her Mother made a smart ass remark, Judy do you know that your boyfriends Uncle (U-Boot officer) was trying to kill your Father? She replied/ was my Father not doing the same? After that her Mother bonded.....
So she didn't boot the U-Boat Officer's nephew? (Don't hit me, you left me a spelling opening and I jumped on it...it is what I do, you handsome fellow, you...so it is your fault).
