It's us VS the Communists. I am an Independant conservative myself, but this sh*t is getting out of hand. Together we stand, divided we fall......
It's a fair question Jack. It's a little tough to take your pronouncement seriously when you can't even define what you are talking about. Remember, you're the one who couldn't define Socialism yet you feel free to throw terms like Socialism and Communism around with no understanding of the terms you are using. An independent conservative wouldn’t be a mindless mouthpiece for the Right wing and yet.... Maybe you're just another Right wing tool that likes labels they really don't understand, can't define, but have heard on Fox and know that they are against them. Don't be a tool Jack. Now again, who is "us"????
Americans (including clowns) That does say it all. Personally, I consider Moen a traitor. He is more dangerous to the United States than the muslim martyrs that have found their way into this country. They can only kill a few people. His ideas, if realized, will destroy our great nation.
Lehigh, I will not go there, calling Mr Moen a traitor, I dont think he is. BUT, He has called Bernie Sanders his fav politician and has stated he would like to see more solialism imposed here. He is just a far lefty. By us, I mean Americans who endorse the constitution and it's freedoms. By " us" I mean those that oppose socialism and a 1 world government. And, I do not at all think Tom C is a communist. I think Moen leans that way, but I am not sure. Please, take no insult in this coment Moen, it is not an attack or a kick, just my take. If I am wrong, please correct me.
A more appropriate title might be "It's Capitalists/Constitutionalists VS Communists/Socialists". I'd agree that the sh*t is getting out of hand and socialism in the U.S. needs to meet a quick end.
I just have to wonder where you guys come up with this stuff and then I come across a news story like this: A Fox News executive was caught on tape saying he pushed the notion that Barack Obama was a socialist on air--even though he thought the "premise" was "far-fetched." Media Matters obtained audio of Bill Sammon, Fox News' Washington managing editor, speaking on a Mediterranean cruise in 2009. On the tape, Sammon begins by talking about "mischief," before segueing into what he identifies as some mischief-making of his own: "Last year, candidate Barack Obama stood on a sidewalk in Toledo, Ohio, and first let it slip to Joe the Plumber that he wanted to 'spread the wealth around.' At that time, I have to admit that I went on TV on Fox News and publicly engaged in what I guess was some rather mischievous speculation about whether Barack Obama really advocated socialism, a premise that privately I found rather far-fetched." Sammon goes on to say that he stopped thinking the idea was far-fetched when he saw Obama taking action to prop up the ailing American car industry. "The debate over whether America is headed for socialism seems all too real, especially to those who still believe in capitalism," he said. Sammon did indeed go on air and talk about socialism, multiple times. On one occasion in October 2008, he told Greta Van Susteren, ""I have read Barack Obama's books pretty carefully, and he in his own words talks about being drawn to Marxists. ... Now all this stuff's coming out about whether he's a socialist. I don't know why anyone is surprised by it, because if you read his own words...it's not a huge shock." This is not the first time that Media Matters has targeted Sammon. The site also obtained leaked emails showing him asking staffers to echo GOP talking points on health care reform and to cast doubt on climate change. In an interview with The Daily Beast's Howard Kurtz on Tuesday, Sammon said that his use of "mischievous speculation" in the speech was "my probably inartful way of saying, 'can you believe how far this thing has come?'" He admitted that, in 2008, he "considered it kind of a remarkable notion that we would even be having the conversation" about socialism, but that he raised it on air because "it was a main point of discussion on all the channels, in all the media." You guys are just too gullible.
My idea came not from FOX news, but from the socialists and communists marching and protesting in Wisconsin, Michigan, Ohio and Washington DC. Their ties with the unions. Moens thread in which he stated " I would like to see more socialism "..........Not Fox news, lol
Oh you mean the teachers, the policemen, the firemen, the health care workers, the public servants that had no demands, asked for nothing, and did not start the fight but did agree to pay more of their own benefits and retirement as a cost cutting measure only to have a fascist, power crazed governor continue to attack working families already hit hard by the recession? It's funny and sad that you equate good hardworking Midwesterners with Socialist and Communists when they are the ones under attack. Don't fool yourself into believing you are siding against unions, you are actually siding against teachers, policemen, firemen, and nurses. You should be ashamed of yourself for being so against ordinary working Americans while siding with John Birchers like the Koch brothers. I was in Madison last Thursday and I can tell you Republicans and Democrats alike hate Walker and his political career is the equivalent of a dead man walking. You still can’t even define Socialism and yet you are against it. Jack, I don’t believe you are a bad guy, you are just very low information and easily lead.
The only conservative here that will even talk to you civilly, and this is the way you treat him. And you wonder why you are so lonely?
Maybe it's your own incivility that is at issue here, not Jack's civility. Besides, he doesn't need your babysitting. He's a big boy. He can handle himself. I don't wonder that.
And then there is this little Fox News story.... Why bother doing real journalism when the story was written before you ever showed up? CNN Foreign Correspondent Calls Out Fox News: ‘Outrageous’ ‘Lies And Deceit’ This afternoon, Fox News reported that the Qaddafi regime used foreign journalists, including teams from CNN and Reuters, as a “human shield” to thwart an attack on Qaddafi’s compound last night. The compound had already been hit by allied missiles, but in its exclusive report — which is FoxNews.com’s most read and commented story — Fox alleges that “British sources” told them that allied forces were planning a second attack, which was called off due to the journalists’ presence. But on the Situation Room tonight, a visibly frustrated CNN senior international correspondent Nic Robertson, who was on the CNN team that visited the compound, called the report untruthful and “outrageous.” Moreover, Robertson acccused Fox of “lies and deceit” for claiming none of their staffers went on the same trip when one in fact did: WOLF BLITZER: I want you to explain what you know about this suggestion Fox news reporting that you, a Reuters crew, some other journalists were effectively used by Qaddafi as a human shield to prevent allied fighter planes from coming in and attacking a certain position. Explain what you know about this. ROBERTSON: Wolf, this allegation is outrageous and it’s absolutely hypocritical. When you come to somewhere like Libya, you expect lies and deceit from a dictatorship here. You don’t expect it from the other journalists. [...] They sent a member of their team. He was not editorial. He was nontechnical, not normally a cameraman. [...] I see [Fox's corespondent] more times at breakfast than out on trips with government officials here. So for them to say and call this — to say they didn’t go and for them to call this and say this was government propaganda to hold us there as human shields when they didn’t even leave the hotel, it’s ridiculous. Robertson also essentially called Fox’s team in Libya lazy and uninformed, saying they rarely leave the hotel to do reporting. He said his colleagues from other networks have the same regard for Fox.
