Countdown until the end of the world.

With the New year just past us, I thought it would be useful for us if I added this, so here's how it will work, considering the world ends on December 21, 2012 each day I am going to post how many days until the end of the world. You may want to bookmark this feature, it is very useful for counting how many days you have left to live. Thanks and a very happy New Year!

 

Why bookmark it when it will appear every day?

 

This of course assumes you interperate the Myan calender as meaning that date signifies the end of the world

 

Perhaps he is good only at predicting his own end?

Well then in which case why worry about world peace or any of it man we is all going to die any how LOL so lets make merry folks Run up those credit card bills forget the morgages

 

Because these last few days need to be the most meaningful.

 

You are so right. Wouldn't it be grand to get an endangered, let's say, sea turtle off the list two days before it all ends.

Man that would surely make me feel good.

 

I do think it would be great to get the sea turtles of the endangered species list, though not that close to December 21, 2012. I have always felt a strong attraction to marine life of all kinds, even the under appreciated sea snakes. I honestly do believe the world will end on December 21, 2012 though. The maya's and the great Nostradamus agree. Not coincidental.

 

We really do need to work together to remove the sea turtles from the endangered species list.

 

And Nostradamus. I accept them both.

 

This place is really getting a little too silly.

 

How is the end of the world "silly"? I believe it to be of the utmost importance. I'm trying to prepare you all for the end is near, and this is what I get?

Sharing your beliefs about the end of the world is fine but how are you really preparing us assuming any of us would listen.

I've read Nostradamus. Fascinating stuff actually. I don't lose sleep over it.
The Mayan calendar is ending. Fascinating and advanced civilization. I don't lose any sleep over it.

Now, as for my wise crack about sea turtles. I don't want to see them extinct nor do I want to see sea snakes extinct nor any other creature on this planet.

The building of the new high school in my town was temporarily halted this year because skunk cabbage was found growing there. Endangered plantlife you know.

Most were infuriated about it. I thought it was cool. Skunk cabbage has been around much longer than the town.

So now I've shared this with you. Now would you share with me/us. What do we do? How do we plan? Why should we plan? What do the Mayans and Nostradamus suggest we do?

If it's gonna end it's gonna end.

You cannot fathom that you are predicting your very ownest hiney?

 

Let's see here, we are going to be worried about some Mayan prediction about the end of the world, when in fact, they couldn't even get off their duffers and predict the end of their very own civilisation?

Charlatans have been around since time immemorial, they come and go. They have been predicting the end of the world since time began. You can read whatever you want to and interpret it to your arguments for Edgar Cayce, Nostradamus, and the Mayans etc.
