Seems they never learn their lesson? Russian losses in Andrivika sector stand at 30K casaulties/ hundreds of tanks/ rocket batteries/ artillary pieces/ trucks/ personnel carriers. On the Southern bridgehead near Kherson/ massive Russian armored attacks vs a small group of marines. Looses are in 4 weeks 450 tanks/ thousands of KIA. Whats going on? You would figure/ eventually they would change tactics. Also on the home front/ why has there not been a coup against Putin and his cronies? Is his secret police machine terrorizing the people to stay in line? Can hardly wait for the F-16s to arrive/ and longer range missiles to kill all Russian ships in Black Sea/ Sea of Azov/ and the Kerch Bridge. 2024 will see Ukraine take Crimea back/ partisans in occupied Luhansk/ Donets Oblasts launch major strikes on enemy soldiers/ infrastructure.
Are the Russians really that stupid? With Putin still in power, I offer an unequivocal, YES! With Biden still in the White House, does that say anything better about Americans?
The ONLY difference is that you and I can express our opinions about Biden/ Trudeau/ in Russia we would both be imprisoned or dead. I guess you would not want to trade Biden for Trudeau? I would not mind a Canadian Dollar at par with yours. Sucks to pay $1.45 Can for 1 US$/ $1.51 for EURO/ $1.70 for Swiss franc when I pay for my coin invoices That shows how bad Trudeau is..... But then if we lived in Russia
Ahh yes . . . good old blackface and blankface . . . what a pair. The USD is not long for that ratio you reference. Not once every American learns how much more the government will want to take from their paychecks to cover the costs of borrowing. Our collective stupidity knows no bounds, "Collective" being the operative word. That covers those of us who do not subscribe to such foolish spending beyond one's means.
The problem started in US in 1933 when FDR unwisely decided to melt down all the 1933 gold coinage. Then he issued dictatorial orders to confiscate Americans private gold (bullion/ coins/ gold certificates) Since 1933 inflation set in/ govt. overspending followed. Now US debt is at 32 Trillion Dollars/ Canada 1.4 T. Both Govts should look at what its costing them just to pay the interest! Trump suggested putting US back on the gold standard/ all the media pundits called him crazy. I did not/ to me this makes a lot of sense. Sadly it would mean pegging gold at 65K an oz. which would make my gold coin collecting days end The gold standard/ precious metal money forced govts to live within their means/ like you and me. Trudeau once said, "budgets balance themselves", I have no dea what planet he lives on
If gold was pegged at $65K USD/oz, I think you and I could probably smile as we shifted to collecting something different . . . acres of forest land, beachfront property, pineapples and coconuts . . . hmm.
I would probably sell some of my modern gold proof sets/ like the 1969 Uganda has 8 oz. gold. The classic gold coins in FDC are not affected by gold price/ rather rarity . I would also get me a couple of these
