    Just as long as health or life insurance companies don't start demanding the test before they cover you and refuse coverage if risk of a disease (any disease) shows up. After all, by providing coverage they're betting you won't get sick or die. And by buying coverage, you're betting that you will. This test would turn the odds of that bet too far in favor of the companies.

    I only hope that the insurance regulators bar the insurers from using the information because it's not a 100% indicator. Of course, I've always said that if you have the gene for lung cancer it doesn't matter whether you smoke or not - you're probably gonna get it. If you don't have the gene, puff away and don't worry.;) Guess I was way ahead of my time.:D
