I've been sitting here watching a replay for BO's acceptance speech from the 2008 convention. What a crocK! You wanna sees lies? Watch this moron in action. He just delivered a line where he said "if you don't have a record to run on, you make your opponent someone to run from". Hmmmm. Sound familiar? I guess when Axelrod was deciding on strategy for 2012 he looked back to '08. He claimed the measure of our success should be measured in terms of jobs & increasing incomes. Well, by his own standards he has failed. He promised independence from oil by 2018. How's that coming? Heck, when I watched the dimocrack platform discussions a couple of weeks ago the delegates were begging BO & the party for an energy policy. Anyone? He promised 5 million "green" jobs. Did that happen? He claimed the last thing we should do in a bad economy is raise taxes on the middle class. Oops! He promised his healthcare scheme would lower premiums. He claimed for the country to live up to it's "fundamental promise" gov't had assure the citizens of the right to "live their lives as they will" He also promised to "pay for every dime" of his spending initiatives ( I guess he meant with borrowed money?) He promised to go through the federal budget line-by-line... Did he forget to do that or does the idea of a budget just repulse him that much? For what it's worth, Paul Ryan has offered to do this with the prez but I don't believe BO's people have responded (well, it's only been 4 years, c'mom) ....and this is only what could quickly recall
If anyone thinks Obama should be in the same category as Abraham Lincoln as "great presidents", he should have his head examined. Obama is even worse than Jimmy Carter (if that's possible).
Distractions from BO's failed record are exactly what the DNC (Douchebag National Committee) hopes for (and creates). I"m sure they take satisfaction in knowing their strategy is working on people like you.
