Somebody didn't bother to read the report.

Which one, the Barr summary, the released report or the unredacted version?

The Barr non-summary was a transparent attempt at misdirection, written to provide talking points for the boss (see the absurd title of this thread), and the un-redacted version is as far as I know not yet available. What is the point of your question?

Apparently, Congressional Republicans are refusing to read the report. That's one approach I suppose.

There is nothing to be gained with this line reasoning from the Democrats. It won't get you more votes; it only makes your base happy.

Look, I was alive and following what happened when the Watergate scandal broke. Nixon deserved to be impeached and removed from office. I was around when the Republicans impeached Clinton. That was just silly. He was not guilty of an impeachable offense.

The only thing that angers you is that Hillary lost the election. That is not an impeachable offense. Think about 2020. That's the wise thing to do.

I wasn't a fan of the Clinton's or the Bush's. I don't like political family dynasties. I think that it is dangerous to let so much power reside in any one family. All impeachment is silly but when you have one party that is complicit in the corruption, impeachment may be the only solution. I prefer to isolate the offender and wait for them to be out of office and then charge them with any crimes. We don't have the ability to isolate the current criminal-in-chief because we have a complicit GOP. The GOP base needs to act instead of getting behind the corruption to the tune of 88% republican approval. When do you see that happening. Yeah, me neither.

No all impeachment is silly. Nixon deserved to be impeached.

Do you really want a dictatorship in this country where one party runs everything? Do you want a small group of people to control all of the assets and ration them among those they see as “worthy?” That’s what will happen if you persecute anyone who does not agree with you politically. You can ruin a person financially with frivolous lawsuits that are looking for crime. One need only look at the case of General Michael Flynn.
    Is that what you want?

Do you want to drive everyone from the public scene who does not agree with you? If that is your goal, you are a very dangerous individual who does appreciate the freedoms that many people have sacrificed to give you.

If average folks are working stable jobs and the working Joe's of this nation are bringing home paychecks, why do we continue to drive this bus? All the while our enemies worldwide laugh at our ineptitude and plot our demise.

    Oh, yes, it is.

You are advocating that you want to prosecute Trump as soon he leaves office for list of crimes that you can’t list. You want to send a chilling message to anyone who runs against you brand of politics because if you do, you are going to send the infinite resources of Justice Department to prosecute them until they confess or don’t have a dime left in their bank accounts.

It’s a chilling message, and it’s been sent to Roger Stone, Paul Manafort and Michael Flinn among others who have been hunted down because they worked for the Trump campaign in 2016 or were perspective Trump appointees. It could happen to you if the Republicans decided use the same tactics, and became a prominent person in a Democratic political organization.

That's a little dark. It also sets a pretty low bar. This country has so much potential both realized and unrealized. Our standard of living and wage levels have been dropping for years while the richest Americans crap on gold plated toilets. Another Gilded Age is all but certain if we keep going down this path. Maybe we need another tax break for the wealthy? Can you see where the working Joe's are headed? I am fairly well off but I can see how much more difficult it as become for the average Joe's.

Just a reality check here, Michael Flynn pleaded guilty. He was guilty and he was caught red-handed. Manafort was convicted and sentenced and was also guilty as hell. Stone awaits trial and is innocent until proven guilty. You forgot Michael Cohen, another guilty plea. Rick gates pleaded guilty. George Popadopoulos pleaded guilty. If Trump is so innocent, you'd think he'd release his taxes as he said he would do. Of course he never will because he knows that there are Russian co-signs on his loans through Deutsche Bank. You want corruption to go unchecked because it happens to be the corruption in your party. Conspiracy theories are all your side has to defend themselves with.

Wages have gone up under Trump, and manufacturing jobs have been picking up. Manufacturing, not service jobs, are where the money the is. Wealth is created when the genius of the people of this country is set free. Wealth is created when that genius is not held down by regulations that produce nothing and taxes that take the buying power away from average citizens and investment capital from those supply the funds for expansion.

It's gotten a lot better for the "average Joes" under Trump than it did under Obama. That's why Trump is getting over 50% approval ratings for his handling of the economy despite the constant drum beat of negativity from the main stream press.

Michael Flynn had no choice. To defend himself, he had to take a mortgage out his home to pay the defense attorneys. It was either plead guilty or declare bankruptcy. After serving his country in the military for many years, that was his choice.

You might think that $1.7 million is a lot of money, and it is under normal circumstances, but in these cases it's a drop in the bucket.

The government can ruin anybody with this tactic because they have infinite resources. Even if you prove yourself innocent, your money is gone. You are broke.

This not like it is with the personal injury suits where the attorneys take the money out of your settlement amount. You have to pay the money to defend yourself, and you win the case, you don’t get it back unless you try to sue for a frivolous lawsuit.

Good luck with that one. The same holds true for the other people named. Plead guilty or go broke. That’s your choice.

I suppose that on paper you could say I am doing OK as well. Fact is though I keep my earnings in my business. Since I started this place in the late 1990's I put in at least 12 hours a day, usually six days a week.... Now I said all that to say this..... April last year I realized a fairly substantial tax break. I immediately hired a new face that now allows me to now work a more "normal" schedule....... All I am saying is that I hear the "rich getting richer" talking point so often... Well, it just doesn't ring true to me. My tax break year before last did in fact fund a new well paid position in my business. I would bet my bottom dollar that my story is far more real world than the rich getting richer story.

The old Democrat argument that “the rich get richer” doesn’t really hold anymore because the private sector labor unions, which used to be a major part of their base, are losing membership. The Democrats are paying less and less attention to them. Look at the coal miners’ unions. The Democrats are looking to shut down their companies which will take their jobs away.

The Democrats new base consists of the public sector labor unions, identity politics people, brainwashed young people who have a mountain college debt and can’t get jobs in their field, and the traditional minorities. In addition, they are looking to enlist illegal aliens and them to poll whether they become citizens or not. If you don’t belong to any of those groups, the Democrats don’t have anything to offer you except, confirmation of your ideology. Try use that when you go to food store or look to buy a home.

Economic security comes from a good job in the private sector and a strong stock market where you can invest your 401k and other savings. Interest income from bank accounts and CDs are dead and will continue to be that way for the foreseeable future.

The only way to wealth and security is a strong economy, and the Democrats are out to tear that down with nonsense like “The Green New Deal,” much higher taxes and more regulations. Unless you are working for the Federal Government, none of those policies should attract you to the Democrat Party.

I don't believe anything that the New York Times publishes without seeing from a confirming source.

You still have not answered my question. Are you a communist?

You don't have have to guts to me, do you? You are just a paper lion.
