How many more of these episodes can he afford. Maybe Huckabee was right

No, no impeachment for this guy. They should just do the job of oversight, and to do that best they need to create a "Special Committee" a joint house and senate committee to investigate executive department abuses. The elected houses have the responsibiltiy of oversight. By doing so, they can focus all resources and avoid the "stove-piping" that's been happening up to now. Then they can ask for a "special council" appointed by the Attorney General if need be.

Nothing good can come out of impeachment procedings.

I used to think that if we got rid of Obama, we would just go from the frying pan to the fire with Biden, but I am beginning to think that fire might not be quite as bad as what we have now.

If there were an impeachment proceding it would turn out more like Clinton than Nixon. The Repubs don't have the political savvy to get it done. The media, which is in the Dem camp, and heavily vested, will hammer the Repubs and the votes wouldn't be there in the end, in any trial in the senate. Look how disorganized the questioning by the Repubs is as compared to the Dems back in the Nixon investigation. Every question put by a Dem was a set piece for the next D question. The Repubs can't get it together like that.

The media played a huge role in the Nixon investigation. But any seeming negative press from the press is in reality "heads up" and alerts to the president and the Dems to "look out" ... you are over-reaching.

The better course is to expose the hypocrisy and abuses of power and let the political fallout neuter them in the coming congressional elections.

Speaking of Biden, ol' Crazy Joe has been a little quiet through all this, hasn't he? I guess he knows his only chance at being taken seriously is if his competition fades away.
Hmmm...maybe Crazy Joe is the source?

This is the one that could be most damaging for the rest of his term. If he loses the media, he is toast as far as doing anything more for the rest of his term.
